Description

We are looking for an RN for our Emergency Department at Howard Memorial Hospital. We are a critical access hospital located in Nashville, Arkansas. We provide comprehensive patient-focused care in a variety of settings— emergency, surgical, inpatient and outpatient—delivered by skilled medical professionals. Our not-for-profit status ensures that all financial resources remaining after expenses are re-invested in the hospital to improve technology, the facility and patient services. 


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates professionalism and ability to work with cultural diversity
  • Participates in patient/family/staff education.
  • Collaborates with other staff and ancillary departments as a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provides safe practice in all aspects of patient care activities.
  • Utilizes knowledge, skill, and judgment in providing direct and indirect patient care.

Qualifications

  • RN licensed in State of Arkansas or Compact Licenses
  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
  • BLS/ACLS required; PALS/TNCC preferred.
  • PALS within one-year entry into position. TNCC within 3 years of entry into position
  • NIH Stroke Scale annual certification required
  • At least 2 years nursing experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Unit
