Description

Howard Memorial Hospital is in need of an Informational Technology Technician. This is not a remote position. This role is responsible for providing field service and helpdesk support to Howard Memorial employees and physicians. The position requires a broad knowledge of computer systems, printers, telephones, hardware, and software. This is a Monday through Friday, full-time position with on-call rotations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance in person, over the phone, email, and remote support. 
  • Maintain hospital-owned computers, peripheral equipment, telephones, networks, and related equipment. 
  • Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers and walk the customer through the problem-solving process 
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel      


Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in Information Technology preferred 
  • A+ or other certifications 
  • Proven experience as an help desk technician other customer support role
