Description
Howard Memorial Hospital is looking for a Human Resources Director.  This a salaried position, full-time, with benefits.  This role will promote and foster positive collaborative relationships and support teamwork and shared success throughout the facility. 

Responsibilities
  • Ensures ongoing recruitment and hiring
  • Develops and maintains HR policies and procedures
  • Oversees performance evaluation process
  • Oversees staff development and training
  • Administers compensation program
  • Coordinates a competitive benefit package
  • Develops and mentors management staff to ensure compliance with EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and other federal regulations
Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or related field OR minimum of 5 years Human Resources management experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Previous managerial experience in healthcare setting preferred
