Description
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work with our patients in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab at Howard Memorial Hospital. We are a critical access hospital located in Nashville, Arkansas. We provide comprehensive patient-focused care in a variety of settings — emergency, surgical, inpatient and outpatient—delivered by skilled medical professionals. Our not-for-profit status ensures that all financial resources remaining after expenses are re-invested in the hospital to improve technology, the facility and patient services. 

This position is a non-exempt, part-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret lab results.
  • Perform blood pressure and temperature checks, and glucose monitoring.
  • Identify cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Educate patients about medications, weight management and risk factor modification.
  • Communicate with patient’s physician when necessary.

Qualifications
  • Current AR RN license or RN license from a compact state.
  • 3+ years experience in clinical nursing experience. Experience in Cardiac Rehab and/or Pulmonary a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and critical thinking skills.
